Social Enterprise
We are a social enterprise on a mission to improve the sustainability of water supply in Africa. We do this by offering a wide variety of prepaid water meter systems. We have two companies in Africa: Maji Milele in Kenya, and Water Forever Uganda in Uganda. Water Forever International is our mother company in the Netherlands (Water Forever International).
We provide:
- Communal Water Meters / Water ATMs – also called Communal Prepaid Water Meters / Communal Prepaid Water Dispensers (PWDs). These are installed at public water points like Water Kiosks and public standpipes.
- Prepaid water meters & smart water meters for individual connections./ These come from small sizes for households to large sizes for big distribution points.
Our prepaid water ATMs, prepaid water meters and smart water meters:
- Are fully integrated with mobile payment for automated water revenue collection
- Enable customers to access water services 24/7
- Have an online monitoring system to track daily water payments, and water consumption and detect water leakages and illegal water connections
