Maji Milele Ltd's head office team comprises the team below. We also have a team of 45 employees in Siaya County and Kamasengere (Homabay County) where Maji Milele operates as a water service provider.
Marcel Schreurs – Director / CEO
Marcel’s passion is to blend business and development in favour of a better world and particularly in favour of access to safe water for the poor. Within this context he is a creator, always open to innovation, new partnerships and new horizons.
Kenneth Wendo- Director
A technology enthusiast with 17 years of experience in business development and project management. In Maji Milele he provides technology leadership and is involved in business development and strategy for the company.
Teresa Karanja – Finance and Admin Officer
Joined Maji Milele in December 2023 as a Finance and Logistics Officer. She holds a bachelors degree in Economics and Finance, has 5 years of experience in Finance and is a CPA and MBA finalist. Her passion is researching development economics with her latest project being a paper on Universal Basic Income.
Alexander Nzenge- Head, Finance and Administration
Alexander Joined Maji Milele in January 2020. He is a Certified Public Accountant with over 10 years of experience in the Financial Management of Trading, Manufacturing, and Social Enterprises. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and Finance degree from Kenyatta University and is currently pursuing an MBA in finance from the University of Nairobi. He has a keen interest in financial planning, forecasting, and modelling.
Mercy Muli- Operations and Logistics Officer
She runs our procurement and inventory management system, implements our clients’ onboarding processes (setting up customers and training them) and ensures their uninterrupted continuous service.
She also runs the core server service that provides token generation for all clients ensuring its efficient operation.
Diana Cherono- Senior Water Technician
A Senior Water Technician with 4 years experience at the company. She’s involved in the installation of all our company systems and providing support. She also has wide experience in working with the grassroots-level communities.
Abdi- Water Technician
Oversees operations at Maji Milele Marsabit Branch, a dedicated water engineer committed to ensuring the sustainability of water resources and improving access to clean water, ultimately saving lives through his work.
Philip Kibocha- Senior Water Technician
One of the experienced engineers in Maji Milele is involved in the installation of all our company systems and providing support. He also has wide experience in working with grassroots-level communities.

Brian has been at the helm of our operations in Uganda, Water Forever Uganda (WFU), for the past 5 years and within this period he has steadily grown the company’s business volumes. To date, WFU is positioned as one of the best and a well-known prepaid water metering solution providers in Uganda.
